Past and future of our 2024 Mission project

 I heard an alarming news on the radio last week.

The global economic crises are causing people who already struggle with poverty to find themselves in such desperate situations that child prostitution is becoming, for many more, the only alternative to starvation. Moms are having their young daughters sell their bodies. Sometimes, they are sold directly to human traffickers.

I realized that any project that fights poverty also fights this kind of human trafficking.

For 2024, 100% of Anastasis' profits support a mission project in Uganda. It is a learning center in Mutungo where women have a chance to overcome poverty and sustain their families. Because of this resource, they will not have to see their children fall into the hands of those who exploit their lives.

At the beginning of the year, we provided a scholarship for one person. We would love to be able to do the same by the end of this year.
